A man wins friends among the neighborhood kids by portraying himself as an expert on the Far East. Larry, however, is able to determine that he is anything but.

As it turns out, he’s an undercover cop, so his detection by Larry is a little embarassing but not sinister. Still--

I don’t particularly care for the story, because Asimov’s unfamiliarity with East Asian writing systems is a little obvious here to those who are. This is a minor quibble, I suppose, but unfortunately it ruins the story for me.
