A man who loves peace and quiet is lead to an unusually quiet spot at a resort by a mysterious stranger who only calls himself “Dark Horse.” Desperate to find the place again, he wants to try to figure out who “Dark Horse” is, and Henry tells him.

This one turns on an incredibly obscure point of American history (the fellow’s name is “J. Polk,” and it was to James Polk that the term “dark horse” was first applied in American history). Pass.
