CURSES

This anthology has nothing by Asimov and exactly two stories I actually enjoy—Horace L. Gold’s “Trouble With Water” and Theodore R. Cogswell’s “You Know Willie.” Some of the other stories are good, even memorable (e.g., Robert Bloch’s “Red Swimmer” or Wilkie Collins’ “Mad Monkton”)—but having only about 25 pages of a 300-page book I enjoy reading doesn’t leave me in much of a position to recommend it.
