NORBY RETURNS TO PLANET EARTH! HOME IS WHERE THE HARDWARE IS…

Homeworld bound, Jeff Wells and his robot Norby blast into hyperspace to help Jeff’s brother Fargo. It seems that someone is zapping robots and stealing computer parts. And in the middle of the mystery, Norby meets the strange descendants of his beloved creator. Even a robot can have a family reunion. Unless he gets zapped first…

NO ONE KNOWS ROBOTS LIKE THE ASIMOVS! PRAISE FOR THE “NORBY” BOOKS BY JANET AND ISAAC ASIMOV.

“FAST-PACED, FUTURISTIC ACTION/ADVENTURE.”—Booklist

“CHEERFULNESS, HUMOR, AND EXCITEMENT ABOUND…A GOOD YARN.”—Kirkus Reviews

“CHILLS, THRILLS, NICK-OF-TIME RESCUES…GREAT GOOD CHEER.”—School Library Journal

I actually find this one even less pleasant than usual for a Norby book. It’s longer, more involved and gives us information about Norby’s past that I was just as happy without (among other things). Not one of the highlights of the Norby series.
